Courtesy Posts
We know that sometimes it’s necessary to find a new home for your pet. If you’re not ready to surrender your pet to a shelter (or we don’t have space), you can try to rehome your pet from home. If you and the pet qualify, we can add a courtesy post to our Facebook page to help.
The benefit is you get to interview and select the pet’s next family. In many cases, this is less stressful on people and pets. If this sounds like something you’d like to try, complete the request form, and let’s talk about your options.
How it works
This service is available to pets that live within 2 hours of Emmett, Idaho, and approval is at the sole discretion of PAL management.
- You complete our Courtesy Post Request form.
- We’ll call you to confirm the request and to gather any additional details.
- You’ll email up to 6 photos of the pet. If you are rehoming multiple animals, we may reduce the number of photos allowed.
- We will add a post to our Facebook page instructing prospective adopters to contact you using the information you provided (phone or email). PAL will not facilitate communication between you and the public.
- When the pet finds a new home, or for any other reason, call us and we will remove your contact information from our Facebook post.
PAL is not responsible for any breed, behavioral, or health conditions related to the pet. PAL is not responsible for protecting your personal contact information.
