Policies & Fees
Our facility serves the City of Emmett and Gem County, and our policies and fees vary depending on where a pet was found and who brought it to us.
If a stray is not claimed after 5 days, they become available for adoption and are removed from this page. We do try are best to find their owner.
Report Your Lost Pet
If you are missing your pet, contact us. Leave your name, phone number, and a description of your lost pet.
Retrieve Your Pet
If the pet was brought to us by Emmett Police Department, call them to retrieve your pet (208) 365-3521. The Emmett Police can access the shelter 24/7 and will reunite you with your pet.
If the Emmett Police did not bring in your pet, contact us; leave your name, phone number, and description of your pet. Come to the shelter during office hours to retrieve your pet. If it's after hours, contact us via Facebook Messenger and we will attempt to make after-hours arrangements.
